News > Pickup your Share of Charleston Supported Art

The countdown is on for the Fall Charleston Supported Art (CSA) Pickup Event! On Thursday, August 28, from 5:30 – 7:30 pm, six local talents will take the spotlight for the exclusive reveal of this season’s unique collection- and we can’t wait to see what they have been working on!

CSA is part of a nationwide movement to cultivate relationships between art lovers and local artists. Based on the community supported agriculture model, it provides an approachable forum for Charleston shareholders to expand their personal art collections three times a year. Shares can be purchased at $450, which includes a total of 6 exclusive pieces as beautiful as the city that inspired them. Thursday’s second installment of creative genius promises a wide range of mediums from photography and jewelry, to pottery, oil paintings, and monotypes. As we anxiously await the local harvest from talents including Mariah Channing,
Olivia Cramer,
Miyako Fujiwara,
Fred Jamar,
Jennifer Henriques Phillips &
Kristi Ryba, there is no better time to join the fun.

After the overwhelming success of the inaugural Spring Pickup Event hosted at GrowFood Carolina, CSA will be partnering with another local supporter, Mixson Bath & Racquet Club for the Fall collection. Our favorite poolside venue will provide a stunning,  “members-only” platform for mingling and conversation between the artists and the community who supports them.

Whether you are a seasoned collector or new to the scene, this event is the perfect outlet to get a taste of the thriving artistic community in the Lowcountry. Shares may be purchased at the event or (even better) in advance at charlestonsupportedart.com.
