Redux Contemporary Art Center (Redux) is proud to present Nothing is True, Everything is Permitted, Andréa Stanislavʼs solo exhibition of new sculpture, glitter constructions and video. The billboard sized glitter construction from which the title of the exhibition is taken is a William Burroughs quote. The exhibition is concerned with the problem of evil in a morally relativistic universe. Stanislav uses taxidermied animals set against fractured forms with mirrored surfaces. Mirrored, glitter and obsidian-like reflective surfaces display an acute awareness of the tension between moral relativism and evil and offer a series of elegant yet challenging reflections on the limits and failures of the utopian imagination.

All Redux exhibitions are free and open to the public. Although PARKING is not available at Redux, there is on-street parking throughout downtown as well as two parking garages in close proximity.
