April 14, 2012 Johns and Wadmalaw Island 10 am - 5 pm

Continuing the Lowcountry Local First Eat Local Month is the Lowcountry Farms Tours Dirt Roadtrip, a tour of Johns and Wadmalaw Island farms.  Pile in the car and head to the Sea Islands just south of Charleston.  Meet the people, tour the farms, learn about the process and enjoy foodtruck fare.  Participating farms include Joseph Fields Farms, Rosebank Farms, Legare Farms, Irving House Vinyards, Ambrose Family Farm, Sea Island Savory Herbs and the Charleston Tea Planation.
