Motoi Yamamoto will spend a week’s artist-in-residency constructing a site-specific salt installation at the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art in College of Charleston’s Cato Center for the Arts.  This is the only visual art featured presentation of Spoleto Festival USA, and represents a major endeavor, as this exhibition of new work will be traveling to Los Angeles, Charlotte, NC and Monterey, CA. Artist Residency May 17 – 24 Opening Reception May 24, 5 – 7 pm Public Dismantling July 7, 4 pm –come take part in returning the salt to the sea!
