The PURE Experience Party

PURE Theatre hosted their first fundraiser, the inaugural PURE Experience party. Spit-roasted barbecue, oyster roast, and other fare by was served by Jeremiah Bacon of The Macintosh as well as local beer and wine. Partygoers enjoyed a live auction of curated PURE personal experiences, the island-funk sounds of Minimum Wage, the cabaret stylings of Laura Ball, Mary Fishburne, and Becca Anderson, and dramatic-comedic interludes by the members of PURE’s Core Ensemble of actors. The PURE Experience was held at PURE’s home at 477 King Street in historic downtown Charleston. All proceeds from The PURE Experience went towards support of PURE’s programming in the community.
