Remark is a landscape architectural studio that is committed to creating outdoor living spaces that are artistic and functional. All around the Lowcountry they are transforming ordinary backyards, parks, and campuses into luxurious and serene landscapes.
Founded by husband and wife duo, J.R. and Holly Kramer in 2007, Remark has made a name for itself as the practice for outdoor creation. They were a part of the Piccolo Spoleto’s Artists on Fire exhibition and creating a instillation piece out of plants and trees. Currently, Remark is a part of the zoning initiative in Mount Pleasant aimed at creating a more pedestrian-friendly streetscape, including the new pocket park at 847 Coleman.
