Horizon Line group exhibition at The Vendue in Gallery 26 Opening Reception: May 5, 5-8pm, as part of the Charleston Gallery Association Art Walk
“There is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different Sun.” – Christopher McCandless For many the horizon is symbolic of the future; looking ahead to the opportunities of the not yet encountered. The idea of an infinite vanishing point has seduced artists for centuries. On May 5th The Vendue Art Hotel will unveil our latest exhibit: Horizon Line. Viewers will experience an exhibition featuring over 20 local and regional artists’ creations sharing a common perspective through various mediums. ![]() Betsy Brackin, ‘MUD’, (via The George Gallery), 31″ x 41″, oil on canvas ![]() Susan Altmen, ‘Traveling’, (via Meyer Vogl), 30″ x 22″, oil on paper ![]() Brett Scheifflee, ‘Viewer’, (via RLS), 12″ x 12″, oil on panel |
