News > Fashion Alley- A Vintage Inspired Fashion Show

Being a vintage junkie, I am so thrilled to be attending Fashion Alley this Saturday evening at the Charleston Rifle Club Bowling Alley. All of my local favorites will be there to showcase their vintage collections on the runway, from Rhett Boyd Jr. of Rogue Wave Surf Shop to Jamie of JLinSnider to Style Girl’s Jess James– just to name a few.

Alice & Daisy Vintage and Candy Shop Vintage will join JLinSnider and Jess James- Style Girl- Vintage Collection in holding pop-up shops, so get there early if you want to snag some great vintage swag.

The latest food truck, Auto Banh, will be providing guests will Vietnamese sandwiches and JLane Confections will be on site with tasty treats. Frothy Beard Brewery will be serving up refreshments as well. DJ Suds of Creative Sound will be there to provide the tunes.

Come dressed in your finest vintage couture for a chance to win a fabulous prize. Guest judges will pick both a best-dressed girl and best-dressed guy.

Proceeds from Fashion Alley will benefit Girls Rock Charleston, a local program that empowers girls and trans youth through music education, DIY media, and creative collaboration.

For tickets, visit the Fashion Alley website. Doors open at 7 pm, the fashion show begins at 8. After the show, have some old-fashion fun with a game of bowling in your couture- bowling is first come first serve. VIP tables are also available for larger groups.

We hope to see you there with big beehive hair and full 50’s skirts. Fashion Alley promises to be a night that goes down in Charleston history.
