Art Mag continues this holiday season with a little underwater fun. Don’t miss our own Janae Tanti starring as Ariel in the Crabpot Players’ The Little Mermaid. In the Palmetto Hall at the Wild Dunes Resort on Isle of Palms, the most technically “Christmas-y” part of the experience was probably the fun lights we saw on the drive over, but favorite familiar tunes and a loveable story kept the audience in good cheer all night long. Numbers like “Under the Sea,” “Part of Your World,” and “Kiss the Girl,” had us swaying, clapping, and smiling.

Will Ariel succeed in pursuing her dream of connecting with the human world? Will Ursula the Sea Witch trick our beautiful mermaid out of her stunning voice? Will Prince Eric realize his love for Ariel before it’s too late? You may just have to buy tickets to find out… From a charming and well-rehearsed female chorus to engaging leads, the Crabpot Players have a great cast for their December show.
