Have you ever wanted to perform on stage at the Dock Street Theatre or at the Woolfe Street Playhouse? South Carolina’s top theatres companies are joining together to bring statewide Unified auditions on April 11. South Carolina’s directors and producers will be looking for actors, designers, and technicians for the 2015-2016 theatre season.

Theatre Charleston has partnered with the South Carolina Theatre Association to provide auditions throughout the entire state of South Carolina. The 90 second audition slots are available through a first come, first serve basis, and the applications can be found here. Actors may use this 90 seconds to perform a monologue or to perform a monologue with a song. A seasoned accompanist will be provided during the audition. The deadline for auditions applications in April 3.

All experience levels of actors, designers, and technicians are invited to attend the Unified Auditions workshop and Q & A session on March 21 at 1 pm at the Threshold Repertory Theatre. This free workshop will answer questions on what to expect at the auditions, how to complete the application, and how to prepare.
