Local Non-Profit Seeks Charleston Area Artists for Arts-Integration Program in Schools

Engaging Creative Minds is looking for talented individuals within the Charleston art community who are interested in joining their roster of highly motivated and passionate Engaged Learning Experience (ELE) Partners. C. ECM welcomes partners from a wide variety of artistic backgrounds, and works alongside artists to create an integrated curriculum to inspire students of many ages.

Tom Noren, a current ECM Partner, says “partnering with ECM has given me the opportunity to develop a technology and music infused curriculum and to market it to area schools. My teaching skills, marketability and networking have all been enhanced through my experiences as an ECM partner.”

ELE Partner applications are accepted during open enrollment with a deadline of January 15, 2015. After careful revision from the ELE Partner Selection Committee, applicants will be notified of acceptance status via email in February 2015.The application can be found at https://engagingcreativeminds.org/artists/apply/.

ECM will offer a free, informational meeting for those interested in becoming an ECM partner on January 8th from 4:00-6:00 at the N. Charleston City Hall Montague Room and January 10th from 10:00-12:00 at the Charleston County Main Library, 68 Calhoun St.  RSVP to erin@engagingcreativeminds.
